The aim of the consultation process is for me to witness what your body is expressing and to make sense of a sometimes bewildering array of symptoms.
The signs of imbalance can occur across all levels of our being; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Allopathic medicine treats at a symptom level whereas homeopaths understand that in order to treat a patient we need to look at the body as a whole. A holistic approach takes into account that mental, emotional and physical symptoms are all connected and relevant.
Together we'll paint a full picture of your health, taking into account any life events which might have had an impact on your state of wellbeing.
In so doing, I can make sense of what your body needs to express and how you experience your dis-ease. This then allows me to gain a deeper understanding of the patterns and sensations that thread through your body and mind, informing who you are as an individual, and how this is translating into your symptoms.
My role as your homeopath is to guide you in connecting with your inner intelligence. To listen deeply to what you have to say, and to observe these physical, mental and emotional patterns that emerge.
I do this by marrying the rigorous scientific principles on which homoeopathy is based, together with my thorough understanding of health and disease, and my ability to connect and intuit at a deep level, a capability that I developed and refined in my 30 years as a Veterinary Surgeon.
Often people can find the consultation itself deeply healing as those insights are made.
Following our consultation, I draw all the information together into a treatment tailored to you and your specific needs.
In some cases, the healing process may already be underway as a direct result of the consultation.
The treatment can, as appropriate and as desired, be taken in conjunction with allopathic medicine.

At my core, I am a homeopath and see homeopathy as working at the very deepest level. Along the way, I have also discovered other therapeutics that can compliment homeopathy amazingly well.

Used in its current form for over 200 years, homeopathy is a system of medicine which is tailored specifically to the individual patient with the aim of triggering the body’s natural system of healing. Safe, simple, natural and suitable for patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly, the WHO estimates that homeopathy is used by 500 million people worldwide, making it the second most widely-used system of medicine in the world.
Homeopathy was developed by German physician Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), who wanted to treat his patients with a system that would eliminate the damaging side-effects associated with more conventional medical treatments. Through exacting scientific experimentation on the ‘like with like’ principle, he discovered that a substance that causes symptoms when taken in large doses, can be used to treat those symptoms when diluted – and the more it is diluted, the more effective the treatment.
